June Newsletter

Hey folks,

First, thanks for subscribing to our newsletter. We’ll try to keep updates to a minimum because we believe that it’s important that your email account not be flooded with constant emails. At the most, you’ll get one email a week but we’ll still try to keep them as few as possible.

The Fair catalog, which includes a full schedule of Fair events, as well as the rules and regulations for the Family Living and Livestock competitions will be going out in the September 2nd edition of The Sun. Be on the lookout for it; that’s a Sunday.

The Fair Queen pageant will take place on September 15th at the NEA District Fairgrounds Expo Center. The exact time and contact information will be posted to the website when I get it.

I’m still waiting on information about the Rodeo so I’ll pass that along next time. Expect the next newsletter (with more details, PROMISE) shortly after August 15. Then I’ll be able to tell you about the performers and have a full schedule posted.

Thanks for subscribing!

They’re discussing changes to Livestock and Home Crafts rules and regulations. Today’s meetings mark the beginning of work on the 2012 NEA District Fair Catalog, which is distributed all over Northeast Arkansas to exhibitors and fairgoers alike.

NEA Fair volunteers and employees work with The Sun to produce a comprehensive guide to the exhbition of livestock and crafts, as well as a complete schedule of Fair activities.

Thanks, Northeast Arkansas

We’ve had another good year at the NEA District Fair and it’s all thanks to the people and businesses of Northeast Arkansas.  Without the help of countless local businesses, we wouldn’t have been able to pull it off and without the visits from so many people, we wouldn’t have had a reason to.  We look forward to doing it again next year at the new Fairgrounds location.

The “Old Faigrounds” is still in use and we’ll be updating our Facebook page with updates on the comings and goings.
