ALL ANIMALS ENTERING THE GROUNDS INCLUDING THOSE SHOWN IN PET ZOOS, CHILDREN’S BARNYARD ANIMALS, OLD MCDONALD FARMS, ETC. ARE SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS.

 

RABBITS WILL REMAIN ON THE GROUNDS FROM MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18,  2017  THRU SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2017

 

NOTE:    

Show time:  Judging will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Barn #1. 

Please notify Superintendent if your Rabbits are pedigreed or registered upon arrival.

Rabbits will be released at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017.

 

1.   All entries can be brought in Sunday, September 17, 2017 between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

      or Monday, September 18, 2017  from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  

      All entries must be checked in by the superintendent upon arrival for pen assignments.    

  FEED AND WATER WILL BE PROVIDED.

2.   Exhibitor entries in the Rabbit Division must be in place by 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 18, 2017. 

      All rabbits must be pre-registered by Friday, September 1, 2017.  Entries will be submitted online at www.neadistrictfair.com beginning August 14, 2017

3.   RABBIT SHOW WILL BE AT 4:00 P.M. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2017.

4.   A minimum of 25 rabbits must be pre-registered or the show will be canceled.

5.   No more than two animals per cage.

6.   All animals must be free of disease and open wounds or sores.  All rabbits must be free of ear mites and open sores.

7.   An official representing the person sponsoring the exhibition shall notify the State Veterinarian no later than thirty (30)

  days prior to the exhibition giving the names, place, inclusive dates, and time of the event.

8.   All rabbits will be shown in a class with its own breed.  There will also be a mixed breed class judge.

9.   Limit 2 entries of the same breed, age, sex per category.  Example: 2 mini Lop, young does, 2 mini Lop young buck,

  2 mini Lop old doe, 2 mini Lop old buck.

10. All entries will be judged by breed.  Classes are open for Adult and Junior exhibitors.

11. ALL PRIZE CHECKS WILL BE VOIDED AFTER 90 DAYS.

12. The Fair Association is not liable for loss, damage, or injury to any exhibit or animal during the show.

There will be a showmanship class for Junior Exhibitors only immediately following the judging of the rabbit show.
